Need some audio advice...

I've seen products that can be plugged into either an EXTERNAL CD changer port, or the Sirius satellite radio port on the back of the audio unit on the 2013 MX-5 (I do not use the Sirius), such as tinyurl[dot]com/3uybjtk8. Does anyone know about, or have used, any of these? In the pics attached, does anyone know what those empty ports are for? Also, does anyone know where the dashboard audio jacks wiring connects to the unit?
